The Invention of Photography

 We would not have filmmaking without photography because film making requires capturing an image, which was done first by photography. The historical importance of photochemistry is that is was able to capture an image. Another significant piece of technology is the Daguerreotype because it refined photography and shortened the length of development. Lastly, the autochrome was an important breakthrough because it introduced color into photography.
