D.W griffiths a birth of a nation

D.W Griffith's, A Birth of a Nation, stuck much controversy in the U.S  at the time of its release. The controversy followed with extreme ratings at the box office. white americans adored the film and admired its romantic complexity. Black americans however were incited by the racial discrimination catapulted towards their community. Griffith's did not believe he was racist. Griffith was very innovative in his works which is evident in his camera work, storytelling, and framing.
