Mono vs. Stereo Sound

 The key differences between mono vs. stereo sound is the way the audio signals are routed. Stereo sound is important to achieve a stereophonic sound while mono sound is used to create monaural sound. I think stereo sound would be appropriate for a interview because you can focus the recording on the subjects voice instead of the external noise.
